There are few people in life who allow you to be yourself, despite yourself.
Friendships of the inappropriate laughter without apologizing kind.
No makeup, or lots of makeup. Red wine or white. It doesn’t matter.
That’s me and my sister.

My Sister and I
Pairing her wine knowledge with my wine curiosity, we ventured off into grape country like a couple of regular Farmvillers.

And like the wine poured into fancy flutes, our laughter bubbled up and out from inside jokes and a shared sense of humor that proved to be a source of trouble for us once upon a time.

Now instead of trouble, it only causes happy tears to run down even happier faces.

Ten years from this time, I know I will not remember which wine tasted best…

but instead, who went best with the wine.

Cheers!

I love my sister(s) as much as you love yours, and was so touched by this post!!
Cherish the time together … it’s the BEST with a sister!
A sister-friend is a special gift. Thanks for sharing yours with us. Love the pictures.
What is your sister’s tattoo? I can’t quite make it out.
There is that bond between sisters…..forever. Love your post!
Sisters are the absolute best!!! And those of us fortunate to have them and that special bond are so very, very fortunate. So happy that you have it too! xo
My friend and I are thinking about taking a trip to California wine country next year. I don’t know much about wine, but you’ve made it look like such a fun girls’ getaway. Would you recommend any vineyards? I’m glad that you had such a nice time.
I just went from looking at a picture of my baby niece and thinking, “I need to visit my family right now” to this post. Its final words? Oh, man. I’ve got to book that flight. After rereading this post.
Gorgeous. And I always love it so when I see a glimpse of you! xx
What fun! Sisters are the best. The grapes on the vine look incredible.
