Not looking to be entered just wanted to say that is really cool, my hubby makes things from our deer too, like coat racks and the like, but that is really cool never would have thought of that. congrats for being resourceful peoples.
Thank you, Deborah!
I’d love to enter your draw! For me, an ideal Christmas would be one with all my kids and grandkids here with us. We’re hoping for that next year but for this year, we’ll be at our daughter’s with two of our kids and two of our grandkids.
Thanks, Edebock! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family! I hope you get your Christmas wish next year.
Ideally my sister would be back for it this year – she completes the holidays.
Our Christmas fits our budget. Completely homemade – including hand sewn Christmas Cards. It’s slowly coming together. Enjoy your Christmas!
Homemade cards sound wonderful!
Love the ornament! One of my favorite memories about Christmas…. On Christmas Eve we would go to my grandparent’s house and my grandma would make a feast. I was always the youngest so I got to play Santa. My grandma would always make a scavenger hunt through her large home, so I had to go searching for all my gifts. It was magical
Thank you, Tobi! And your childhood Christmas sounded so fun – I know just what you mean about those “magical” times. If only we could recapture them as adults!
I wasn’t planning on doing anything for Christmas, until my little guy starting talking about how much he loves Christmas lights and Santa Claus and reindeer and snowballs and snowmen and snow and Christmas trees and more Christmas lights. His enthusiasm has alit my own, so I’m looking forward to getting a small tree and pulling my old Japanese hyaku-en ornaments out of my closet.
That sounds so wonderful. I love how your son gave you eyes to see Christmas again. I know my own can be dimmed by everything going on, so it’s nice to have a reminder – in whatever form – of the simple joys of Christmastime.
I nominated you for the Blogger of the year 2012 award….Congratulations!
Thank you! Will head over to check it out soon.
Very pretty … Really pretty.
Thank you very much!
Very very cool! We will have some of the family here for dinner. I am thinking about roasting a goose. Never done that before…but it sounds like fun!
That does sound like fun! I hope it turns out for you and becomes a great family memory
Our Christmas plans are pretty chill this year, with one exception… we hope to be closing on 230 acres in upstate NY in order to start our own grass-finished beef, pork and chicken operation! I’m currently active duty Air Force, so I’m just grateful to be home with my wife and two children during this time of year. God bless the Country Man and his Wife this Christmas season!!
Congrats!! I imagine it is quite beautiful. What exciting changes coming your way!
I love that it has the date on it! So cool!
Ideal Christmas plans include a fireplace, a tree, hot cocoa and no lights. Just my family hanging out by the tree lights and the firelight, opening gifts, playing games, laughing and enjoying one another. Now, we just need a fireplace!
Thank you! Your Christmas plans sound wonderful. But no lights?! My favorite part

My husband would love this! My ideal Christmas is just staying home all day in our jammies with my husband and kids! sharoo1975@yahoo.com
Not even going to say what I thought that was at first.
Hope you’re doing well this Christmas.
Haha – oh no! And nice to see you again! Hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday season.
