Tobi the Magnificent, out and about.

Tree looking toward Spring.

Resilient thistles, ready to come alive and annoy farmers.

The prairie dogs are always ready for that task.

This prairie dog is cautious and quick,

too quick for the prairie yorkie dog.

Come to my birthday party?!

Oh well, better luck next time, Tobi the Magnificent.
Awwww…too cute.
Thank you!
Love your pup! My dog goes after the prarie dogs here and loves the adventure.
I think you need a thought balloon on the first photo that says, “I’m rough and tough – bring it on!”.

Tobi is so cute, I would love to have a Yorkie. Prarie dogs are so cute also. I wonder what they think of each other.
How cool! I never knew prairie dogs had spots on their backs.
Hey Julie! Well, they don’t actually. It’s a gopher, which my husband pointed out. I have to do a post now in which I apologize to all the gophers out there. You’d think I wasn’t born and raised in this state sometimes. Thanks so much for reading!
Way to chase that prairie dog / gopher, Tobi, going back to the Yorkie roots!
Thanks Jackie! It’s a gopher *doh* me.
Maybe this summer I will get some pics of real prairie dogs to show the difference; it is a big one!
co ens sid dent alleee: i worked with a lady who lamented the loss of her two PET prairie dogs — just this a.m.
our dawg “sleven” tries every time out in the desert to get close to a p.d. but so far, we think, no luck.
